January was a mixed month in real estate for Denton County and Aubrey, Texas. Aubrey thrived in the new year, but Denton County as a unit took a slight decrease in real estate prices.


The average sale price in Denton county in January decreased to $302,361 from December’s average of $307,764. But the MLS average sale price is at $243,641; still well below the Denton County average. Aubrey increased its average sale price by almost $14,000 to an average sale of $217,927 for January.

Aubrey took a 34% increase in price per square foot for January, bringing the average price per square foot up to $129. The average on the MLS is…

Denton County average sale price rose by 9.2% to $308,534! That’s almost $40,000 more than the average sale price on the entire MLS. Aubrey’s average sale price is at $203,664.
