December Real Estate AnalysisDenton County has continued to flourish in it’s real estate sales. December was another great month in real estate with home prices still staying high and steady for the county. Here’s my roundup for how real estate did in December:


Denton County average sale price rose by 9.2% to $308,534! That’s almost $40,000 more than the average sale price on the entire MLS. Aubrey’s average sale price is at $203,664.

$117 per square foot was the average throughout December in Denton County. Despite the high price per square foot that continues to rise, Aubrey’s price dropped by 3% to $92 per square foot.

Average days on the market continue to drop in Aubrey, and have steadily risen throughout Denton County. Aubrey is just shy of 40 days and Denton county is up to 46 days on average.

Denton County is up to 2,104 listings as of December and Aubrey has 39 homes listed. Out of those 2,104 listings for Denton County, 835 are new for the month of December.
