The Dallas area is known for its shopping. I’ve talked with New Yorker’s who claim that New Yorker’s talk about the Dallas shopping before their own. With all the opportunities to get all your errands done, where’s the best place to go when you live near Aubrey (almost an hour away from Dallas)? Well don’t worry, I’ve got you covered on where you should go to shop if you live near Aubrey, TX:
Stonebriar Center
Stonebriar Centre is located in Frisco about 30 minutes southeast of Aubrey. Frisco has grown like crazy over the last 15 years, and they have some of the best shopping without going all the way to Dallas. Stonebriar Centre is a mall and shopping district right off of the Dallas North Tollway.
It is full with all the shops you could ever need, and they are usually a little bigger than the chain stores that are located in Denton. Additionally they are a little higher end in the store selection, compare to the Denton selection.They have a great food court also, if you’re making it a whole day checking out Pottery Barn, Fossil, Coach, or the Apple Store. If you make a day out of shopping in Frisco, don’t forget to check out some of the buildings right outside the mall. There are numerous furniture stores and additional restaurants to get everything done right there.
Golden Triangle Mall
Golden Triangle Mall is located at the intersection of Loop 288 and I35 in Denton and has improved a lot over the last few years. After having some tough years, they have revamped the whole mall to make it much more appealing to shoppers. The plus to this mall is that it’s close and has the necessities, if you need to make a quick mall run. For example they have a great Barnes and Noble, Macy’s, Dillard’s, Bath and Body Works, and a few sporting goods stores. Golden Triangle Mall doesn’t have quite the selection in the same parking lot that Stonebriar Centre has, but within a few miles are most grocery and specialty stores that you need. Rayzor Ranch
This is a really recent project that has one section complete and is currently working on finishing the second stage. This isn’t a mall, but is an outdoor shopping area that is going to be fantastic once it’s completed.
Currently at Rayzor Ranch, you can get all of your grocery shopping done at both Walmart and Sam’s Club. If you’re in need of some new clothes, there is a Kohl’s, Boot Barn, and Famous Footwear. There are numerous specialty stores and restaurants in the area too. There is a Freebird’s, Chik-Fil-A, and a Country Chicken for food options and they’re all fantastic. It’s super convenient to be able to pull right up to the store you need to get to and get right back out.
Even better is that this is about to grow, as the developers are adding on a cinema, more restaurant selections, and shopping. To find out more about what is about to go into Rayzor Ranch or what is already there check out their directory here.
Denton County is booming like crazy and it’s hard to figure out where you need to go to get your shopping done quickly. There are so many fantastic options that it can be tempting to drive over an hour to get your shopping done, but there are fantastic options to get it done close to Aubrey.
