Looking forward to your weekend, but want a couple of updates to do around the house? Here are a couple of easy DIYs that would make a big difference to you or to a potential buyer!
Switch up the hardware
Small changes make a big difference! Outdated knobs and handles in a kitchen can make it feel like it is stuck in the 80s. However, by just swapping them out, it can take that 80’s bathroom to an updated clean bathroom. It just takes a little bit of money, a screwdriver, and depending on the size of the room a couple of hours!
Switch out the faucets
Same thing with those faucets! Changing out the water faucets is a simple change that can be done in an afternoon, but will give your countertops a fresh look. This is a little more complex than changing out the hardware of the cabinets, but still easily just an afternoon project. When buying a new faucet, it will come with some instructions but if you need some additional help here is a step by step breakdown of what to do.
Update the paint
Paint is one of the most underrated updates that you can do around the house. Paint the rooms, baseboards, outside, or whatever else is looking a little dingy to clean it up and give it a brand new feel. Plus it doesn’t take more than a day or two to finish the project depending on what you decide to paint!
Happy updating!!
